In order for a band style to be composed, it must be assigned to at least one measure. A band style can be loaded into any and all measures. When a band style has been loaded into a measure, the band style's name is displayed underneath the measures' staff. To load a band style onto a measure, do a right click onto the measure and select "Load Band Style".

You can move a band style from one measure to another by dragging it. Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging to make a copy. To delete a band style, select the range of measures and press "Del" on your keyboard.
